Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the use of PowerPoint-based interactive learning media in the Independent Curriculum in Class V SD Negeri 66 Kendari, and (2) to identify the inhibiting and supporting factors of PowerPoint-based interactive learning media in the Independent Curriculum in Class V SD Negeri 66 Kendari. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research approach. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 66 Kendari, located in Punggolaka Village, Puuwatu District, Kendari City in June 2025. The subjects of this study are: the Principal of SD Negeri 66 Kendari, teachers, and students of Class V SD Negeri 66 Kendari. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study show that: (1) the use of PowerPoint-based interactive learning media in the Independent Curriculum in Class V SD Negeri 66 Kendari runs according to the lesson plans made by the teacher, despite some obstacles, the teachers always strive to apply interactive learning media in the classroom. The use of interactive learning media can improve learning outcomes and make learning activities enjoyable and not monotonous, 2) Inhibiting factors in the use of interactive learning media are the lack of teacher ability in creating and developing interactive learning media, as well as limited supporting facilities so that not all classes use interactive learning media at the same time. The supporting factors in the use of interactive learning media are the facilities available in the use of interactive learning media such as infocus, sound system and full support from all parties, both from the principal, students and parents
