FUNGSI OLAH TEMPAT KEJADIAN PERKARA (TKP) DALAM PENYIDIKAN (Studi di Polda Sultra)

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the function of crime scene processing (TKP) in investigations carried out by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police specifically. The research carried out was field research, namely researchers went directly to the research location to collect data by conducting interviews with authorities and the community, in addition, this study also used a library research method, namely reviewing various reading materials / books related to the title of the study in question. The results of the study conducted by the author found the fact that the function of crime scene processing in investigations is to determine whether an incident suspected of being a criminal act is a criminal act or not, to search for and collect evidence at the scene of the crime for the benefit of further investigation, and to clarify who the perpetrators of the crime that occurred. These functions show how important crime scene processing is in investigations because it will help facilitate the process of investigating a crime.
