Abstract

This research will be conducted in. Southeast Sulawesi Province, especially in Wawouru Village, Palangga District, South Konawe Regency because in that village it can be easier to obtain data that can answer the problems that are the object of this thesis. This study aims to 1. To determine the form of implementation of the election of Village Consultative Body (BPD) members in Wawouru Village, Palangga District, South Konawe Regency. 2. To determine the inhibiting factors in the implementation of the election of Village Consultative Body (BPD) members in Wawouru Village, Palangga District, South Konawe Regency. Based on the results of this study, it is known that 1) The form of implementation of the election of BPD members in Wawouru Village is not in accordance with Law No. 6 of 2014 and the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs No. 110 of 2016 by using the Representative Deliberation system involving women's representation, the election using the family representative approach system will have an impact on the wide openness of the KKN practices that will be produced. 2. The inhibiting factors in conducting the election of BPD in Wawouru Village are that there is a little difficulty in finding prospective BPD members; a. limited community knowledge about BPD. b. The inability of the elected prospective members to act to address the needs of the community has an impact on the indifferent attitude towards members of the Village Consultative Body. c. The difficulty of finding prospective BPD members who meet the requirements as stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs No. 110 of 2016.
