TINJAUAN KRIMINOLOGIS TINDAK KEKERASAN PELECEHAN SEKSUAL TERHADAP ANAK DI KOTA KENDARI (Suatu Studi di Polres Kendari)

Abstract

This research was conducted in Konawe Regency, precisely at the Bombana Police Office. The data that was successfully obtained or that had been successfully collected during the research process, both primary data and secondary data, were then analyzed qualitatively and then presented descriptively, namely describing, describing and explaining in order to obtain a picture that can be understood clearly and in a directed manner to answer the problems to be studied. The results of the study indicate that the factors causing acts of violence and sexual harassment against children in Kendari City are: family factors, a free social environment, sexual urges, technological developments/easy access to porn sites, the influence of alcoholic beverages and the opportunities given by victims to perpetrators and efforts to overcome acts of violence and sexual harassment against children in Kendari City carried out by the police, namely preventively (prevention) and repressively (action efforts) such as providing counseling and conducting socialization to high school students regarding the negative impacts of the dangers of free sex, appealing to the public to increase awareness of all possibilities of sexual harassment crimes or harassment against children in the family environment or community environment, and conducting patrols at night in places where children and adolescents date so as to minimize immoral acts and crimes of sexual harassment and making heavy demands on perpetrators of sexual violence in accordance with the Child Protection Act.
