EFEKTIFITAS PEMBINAAN KEROHANIAN DALAM MEMBENTUK KESADARAN DAN KETAATAN HUKUM WARGA BINAAN LAPAS PEREMPUAN KELAS III KENDARI

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) To find out and understand the effectiveness of the implementation of the spiritual guidance program in forming obedience and legal awareness for the Inmates of the Class III Kendari Women's Penitentiary 2) To find out and understand the efforts made in implementing the spiritual guidance program at the Class III Kendari Women's Penitentiary. The data collection technique in this study was carried out through field research and literature to obtain data related to the title of this thesis. Furthermore, the data was processed and analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method to describe the problems that had occurred. The results of this study concluded that in relation to the effectiveness in forming a law-abiding character with spiritual guidance is the success of forming awareness. Awareness is meant with an orientation towards the formation of law-abiding citizens. This can be interpreted that the detention or guidance process carried out in correctional institutions can be said to be successful if the rights of inmates have been properly fulfilled in line with what is regulated in Article 14 paragraph (1) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 12 of 1995. Efforts to implement Religious Guidance at the Class III Kendari Women's Penitentiary have an important role in socializing inmates. The purpose and function of Spiritual Guidance is to improve and foster human patience about their existence as God's creatures, so that their behavior does not deviate from their life's purpose. Spiritual guidance has a function as prevention, helping to solve problems of situations and conditions currently being faced by inmates.
