PENEGAKAN HUKUM TERHADAP ANAK PELAKU TINDAK PIDANA PENCURIAN DI KABUPATEN BUTON UTARA (Suatu Studi di Polres Buton Utara)

Abstract

This study aims to determine how law enforcement is carried out against child theft perpetrators in North Buton Regency. To determine what factors inhibit law enforcement against child theft perpetrators in North Buton Regency. This study will be conducted in North Buton Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, precisely in the jurisdiction of the North Buton Police, to obtain data that can be needed to complete the completion of the thesis with the Interview collection technique is a meeting of two people to exchange information and ideas through questions and answers, so that meaning can be constructed in a particular topic. The author obtains information by interviewing: Documentation is a data collection technique by looking at documents that can be in the form of writing (regulations and decisions), pictures or works that are momentous in question. Observation is a method or way to analyze and systematically record behavior by seeing or observing individuals or groups directly. The results of this study indicate that law enforcement against cases of theft in the Butur Regency area is as follows: Preventive efforts or can also be called prevention efforts carried out by the Butur Police are as follows: 1). Integrated patrol, this is a form of activity in the form of combing areas that are part of Butur Regency carried out by Butur Police officers together with the surrounding community. 2). Conducting socialization to the community. 3). Providing appeals to the community to always be careful. 4). Putting up warning signs of the rampant theft. The Repressive Efforts carried out by the Butur Police are as follows: 1). Carrying out the investigation and education stages as regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code. 2). Carrying out operations in areas where aggravated theft is rampant.
