Abstract

"Public Perception of Community Security and Order (Kantibmas) in Andoolo District, South Konawe Regency)"
The aim of this research is to find out the community's perception of the development of security and public order (Kamtibmas) in Andoolo District, South Konawe Regency.
The results of the study indicate that the public's perception of the development of security and public order (Kantibmas) by the Police in Andoloo District shows that the 4 types of development namely: community order, self-defense, community security, and community potential development have been implemented and more than 60.0 percent respondents stated that the intensity of the implementation of the task was at a frequent level. Community Order Development was carried out by guiding and providing counseling to the community in order to increase community participation, community legal awareness. Self-help security development is carried out through face-to-face, visits/sambangan, counseling, and exercises in order to guide the community in implementing the environmental security system. 3. Community security development, namely facilitating discussion forums/meetings organized by community groups and fostering community potential, namely holding face-to-face meetings with community leaders, both individuals and groups/organizations, as well as periodically and situationally.
