Pengelolaan Pariwisata Bahari di Kota Kendari
Abstract
Tourism development needs to be managed wisely, with consider development outcomes and their impact comprehensively. This study aims to (1) Describe Marine Tourism Management in Kendari City, (2) Know what factors influence the management of maritime tourism in Kendari City, and (3) Find solutions for tourism management in an effort to increase local revenue (PAD) in Kendari City. The method in this researcher uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Qualitative research aims to reveal qualitative information so that it emphasizes more on process and meaning problems by describing a problem. The research carried out is descriptive, namely knowing or describing the reality and events under study so as to facilitate the author to obtain objective data in order to know and understand the problems faced in managing maritime tourism by the Kendari City Tourism Office. The results of the study illustrate the potential potential of Kendari's marine tourism such as (a) Purirano Coral Coast, (b) Mayaria Beach Kendari, (c) Kendari Bay Beach, (d) Nambo Beach, (e) Pulau Hari, (f) Gembol Village , (g) Weaving Arts in Kendari, and (g) Tourism for Tahura Murhum. Maritime tourism management in Kendari City is still possible to develop and has the potential to bring in more tourists both domestic and foreign tourists. Furthermore, through programs such as the Kendari Bay Festival, the Nambo Beach Festival has at least become a good foundation in introducing Kendari City maritime tourism which is actually no less interesting to visit than the potential of maritime tourism in other regions.
