This study aims to analyze the literature on the integration of character education into social studies learning. By employing a systematic literature review, the research identifies various strategies and approaches that teachers can use to incorporate moral and civic values into the curriculum. Findings highlight the importance of contextual learning, cooperative learning models, and the integration of local wisdom in fostering students' moral, social, and civic competencies. This study underscores the potential of IPS learning as an effective medium to instill character education at an early age.
