Abstract
Waste is waste material that is discarded as a result of the production process, be it industry or household, The purpose of writing is to provide alternative strategies in the management of waste banks. The research technique is qualitative descriptive, by conducting field observations and in-depth interviews as well as document studies, and data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis The results of the research show that the management of waste banks is carried out by the mentoring method, carried out through stages; (1) Program socialization, (2) Mentoring, and (4) Monitoring. The Management Impact is; (1) Increasing Public Awareness: Management (2) Reducing Waste Discarded, (3) Increasing Community Income and (4) Improving Environmental Quality Environmental awareness and quality need to be done by (1) Expanding the waste bank program to other communities, (2) Increasing public awareness about the importance of waste management and (3) Cooperation between the government and the community to improve waste management
