PELAKSANAAN HAK KESEHATAN TERHADAP NARAPIDANA WANITA YANG SEDANG HAMIL (Suatu Studi Di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Perempuan Kelas III Kendari)
Abstract
The purpose of this study is 1) how the fulfillment of health rights for pregnant female prisoners is in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. 2) to find out the obstacles in the implementation of health rights for pregnant female prisoners in the Class III Kendari Penitentiary. This study was conducted at the Class III Kendari Penitentiary, using the Normative and Empirical methods. This type of research uses Literature and Field writing. Data collection techniques come from interviews and observations. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that 1) The implementation of the fulfillment of health rights for pregnant female prisoners in the Class III Kendari Penitentiary has not been carried out optimally due to the lack of medical personnel, especially doctors, midwives, and nurses with a total of 4 people is also not enough. There is also a mismatch between the available health facilities and the needs of pregnant female prisoners, although in general there are many health devices but they are not sufficient for examining pregnant prisoners. 2) Obstacles in fulfilling health rights can be broadly divided into two, the first is due to the lack of quantity of health workers in Class III Kendari Prison so that the fulfillment of health rights cannot run optimally, the second is the limited budget in providing maximum health facilities for pregnant prisoners, the results of these two obstacles affect the quality of health workers in carrying out their duties in examining and treating pregnant prisoners.
