UPAYA PENANGGULANGAN TINDAK PIDANA PELECEHAN SEKSUAL TERHADAP ANAK DI BAWAH UMUR (Suatu Studi Di Polres Bombana)

Abstract

The objectives of the study were: 1). To determine the factors causing sexual harassment in Bombana Regency. 2). To determine efforts to prevent sexual crimes, especially in the jurisdiction of the Bombana Police. This study was conducted in the jurisdiction of the Bombana Police using a normative empirical research type. The data collection methods used were document studies, field surveys and interviews using qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen: 1. Factors that cause sexual harassment in Bombana Regency, namely In addition to psychological conditions, there are also factors that encourage the occurrence of sexual harassment by children, namely the influence of a bad environment, social media (internet) which presents many images or indecent behavior, reading material that smells of porn, pornographic images, films and pornographic VCDs that are widely circulated in the community. The circulation of reading books, images, films and pornographic VCDs can cause stimulation and influence for those who read and see them, as a result there are many sexual deviations, especially by children under age and adolescents, as well as by legal and economic factors. 2. Efforts that must be made so that sexual harassment does not occur, especially in the jurisdiction of the Bombana Police, namely by taking preventive measures, both Preventive and Repressive, the application of legal sanctions, and the guidance of sexual harassment is a problem that requires special attention from the government, because it is related to the morality of the nation's generations. In this case, the court, which is an agency or institution that handles legal issues, needs to pay attention to cases related to children, especially sexual crimes. The court needs to provide the most appropriate sanctions for children who commit crimes, especially sexual crimes.
