PERANAN OLAH TEMPAT KEJADIAN PERKARA PIDANA DALAM PENYELIDIKAN (Suatu Studi di Reskrim Polres Konawe)
Abstract
The purpose of the study is (1) to find out what obstacles are encountered in the crime scene investigation process (TKP). (2) to find out the efforts that have been made in the investigation of the function of processing the crime scene (TKP) in the investigation process. In carrying out the research process, the author conducted research at the Konawe Police office. Determining the focus of the research is a very important stage in qualitative research. Research Results (1) The crime scene is a place where a criminal event occurs which is found to be important and helpful for further investigation, and is related to the evidence found. Handling the crime scene is the initial stage of the investigation, investigators in carrying out their duties during the process of processing the crime scene continue to refer to the JUKLAK of the Republic of Indonesia Police with number 04/1/1982 and the JUKNIS of the Republic of Indonesia Police with number JUKNIS 01/II/1982. The process of implementing the crime scene investigation begins with the preparation of handling the crime scene, traveling to the crime scene, first actions at the crime scene (TPTKP), crime scene investigation consisting of general observation, photography, making sketches, collecting evidence, handling victims, witnesses, and perpetrators, organizing the crime scene investigation, and the end of crime scene investigation consisting of consolidation, opening/freeing the crime scene, making a report of the examination at the crime scene, and evacuation of activities. (2) The obstacles faced by investigators in carrying out the crime scene investigation are divided into two parts, namely obstacles from outside the police and obstacles from within the police themselves. Obstacles from outside the police consist of the condition of the crime scene, time factors, weather factors, and community factors. Then the obstacles from within the police are in the form of personnel factors and minimal facilities and infrastructure. Efforts made to overcome these obstacles are by providing education to the community about the importance of the crime scene.
