PERANAN PENYIDIK KEPOLISIAN DALAM PENYIDIKAN TINDAK PIDANA UMUM (Suatu Studi di Reskrim Polres Konawe)

Abstract

Research Objectives (1) To find out what influences law enforcement in criminal acts at the Konawe Police. (2) To find out what obstacles the police investigators face in carrying out their duties and functions as investigators. This research proposal preparation begins with initial research by collecting various data and information relevant to the problems to be studied. In the next stage, the author conducted research at the Konawe Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Konawe Regency. Research Results (1) Factors that influence law enforcement in general criminal acts include: legal factors themselves, law enforcers, facility factors, community factors and cultural factors. The obstacles for police investigators in carrying out their duties and functions as investigators are: Lack of witness participation in providing information in the investigation process, Many investigators still have low levels of education, Limited number of investigators, Inadequate income/salary factors for investigators, Minimal investigation budget and Inadequate facilities and infrastructure to support investigator performance.
