TINJAUAN YURIDIS TERHADAP TINDAK PIDANA PENIPUAN DENGAN CARA PENGGANDAAN UANG (Suatu Studi di Polsek Lambandia Kec. Lambandia Kab. Kolaka Timur)

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors cause the occurrence of fraud through money multiplication in Lambandia District, East Kolaka Regency and to determine what efforts must be made to prevent the occurrence of fraud through money multiplication in Lambandia District, East Kolaka Regency. The study was conducted in East Kolaka, precisely at the Lambandia Police. This study uses descriptive research because the data obtained in the field is presented descriptively using the empirical normative approach method. Based on the analysis of the data and facts that the author has obtained, the author concludes, among others: a) Factors that cause fraud through money multiplication in Lambandia District, East Kolaka Regency, namely Some people think of achieving wealth in an instant way, and the results can be used to support a higher lifestyle; Hedonistic culture and reluctance to work hard are the main factors causing people to be easily tempted by unreasonable promises. This hedonistic invitation is conveyed through actors who play the role of rich people but without explaining the clear process of becoming rich. Television shows, a number of soap operas and advertisements indirectly promote a hedonistic lifestyle. Product advertisements display instant things. What is conveyed through the mass media has the potential to enter the human subconscious and influence its character. The condition of society that experiences "materialistic value oriented" (MVO) or values material excessively; b) Efforts that must be made to prevent criminal acts of fraud through money multiplication in Lambandia District, East Kolaka Regency, namely by conducting socialization in the form of not easily believing people who claim to be able to double money; Cooperatives / Foundations or whatever they are called in carrying out their fraudulent actions, usually without the knowledge of the local government. First investigate the origin of the cooperative / foundation (or whatever it is called) starting from permits, completeness of letters and so on; Ask for opinions from family regarding the offer of money multiplication that you experienced; Check and consult with the police regarding the practice / alleged fraud that you experienced; Money or wealth will not come by itself without hard work and effort.
