PERANAN KEPOLISIAN DALAM PENENGGULANGAN PELANGGARAN LALU LINTAS OLEH ANAK SEBAGAI PENGENDARA SEPEDA MOTOR (Suatu studi di Lantas Polda Sultra)

Abstract

The research aims (1) to find out and analyze the factors that cause children to commit counterfeit money crimes (2) to find out efforts to overcome counterfeit money crimes committed by children. In conducting the research, the author chose the location at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police Office, namely at the DirkrImsus. The author chose the research location because the location has sufficient data and data sources needed in this research. Research Results 1.) Factors that cause counterfeit money crimes committed by children are: a) socio-economic conditions; b) low education levels; c) family and community environment factors. 2). The efforts that have been made to overcome the problem of counterfeit money crimes committed by children in general are: 1. Preventive efforts: a. Establishing an environmental security system. b, Increasing the handling carried out by the local government which is considered prone to counterfeit money crimes committed by children. Conducting religious counseling, and legal counseling. 2. Repressive Efforts a) Making arrests and detentions b) Conducting raids, which are carried out in an integrated manner with related agencies c) Providing guidance for the perpetrators of the crime Rehabilitation/Curative Efforts d) Special guidance for children begins when the child commits a crime, then has experienced repressive actions. e) After there is a decision on the crime case committed by the child, he/she will be given special and in-depth guidance by the authorities, until the child is returned to his/her parents/guardian, and it is possible that the child will be directed to good deeds and will not repeat his/her evil deeds.
