TINJAUAN KRIMINOLOGIS TERHADAP KENAKALAN REMAJA (Suatu Studi Di Polres Kendari)

Abstract

The research aims to: (1) Reveal the factors that cause juvenile delinquency in Kendari City (2) Find out the efforts that have been made by various parties to overcome juvenile delinquency in Kendari City. The research was conducted in Kendari City and data collection at the Southeast Sulawesi Police after being connected to the theory was then analyzed qualitatively and described by outlining and describing the problems related to this problem. The results of this study indicate (1) That juvenile delinquency in Kendari City throughout 2011 to 2015, based on the type of delinquency most often committed by teenagers, namely illegal racing, because in general delinquency is influenced by invitations from friends or gangs. In addition, the factors that cause a teenager to commit delinquency are lack of affection and supervision from parents, social environment, the role of the development of science and technology that has a negative impact, experiencing violence in the family environment, excessive freedom and economic problems. These are the factors that cause teenagers to commit delinquency (2) In terms of efforts to prevent and overcome juvenile delinquency, then: (a) Family/parents play a role in providing affection and attention in any case. (b) Teachers/schools play a role in creating a conducive and comfortable school atmosphere for teenagers so that they can develop according to the stage of adolescent development, and the community needs to supervise youth groups, review and take firm action against the circulation of pornographic books, comics, magazines, films and others that are detrimental to society are important things that need to be considered. The steps that must be taken by the Kendari Police in Kendari City are: preventive efforts and repressive efforts. Preventive efforts include adhering to religious teachings, choosing a good social environment, counseling or guidance through family, school and community institutions.
