FAKTOR PENYEBAB TERJADINYA PERKELAHIAN ANTAR WARGA DI KELURAHAN GUNUNG JATI KOTA KENDARI ( Suatu Studi di Polsek Kendari )

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the causal factors that cause fights between residents in Gunung Jati Village and to determine and analyze the efforts made by the police to avoid fights between residents in Gunung Jati Village. The research was conducted by the author at the Kendari Police office, as well as library research by studying books, legislation related to the material for writing this thesis. The results achieved in this study indicate that the causal factors for fights between residents in Gunung Jati Village that occurred in the jurisdiction of the Kendari Police are offenses between group members, misunderstandings, revenge, alcohol, a sense of solidarity, social disparities/economic factors, land ownership and things that can cause divisions, for example Pilkada and efforts made by the police in overcoming fights between residents are: 1) Pre-emptive efforts are efforts or efforts to prevent crime from the start or early on, carried out by the police where the action is more psychological or moral in nature to invite or appeal to the community to obey all applicable norms. 2) Preventive efforts are efforts made with the aim of preventing the emergence of crime by means of control and supervision, or creating a conducive atmosphere to reduce and then suppress the crime from developing in the community. 3) Repressive efforts are efforts or actions taken directly to eradicate crime and violence such as abuse by taking action so that the perpetrators are deterred and do not repeat their crimes.
