TINJAUAN KOMPETENSI KELAYAKAN TUGAS DAN FUNGSI PELAYANAN POLRI (Suatu Studi Di Polresta Kendari)

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out and understand the competency of the police's duties and functions in carrying out services 2) To find out and understand the inhibiting factors of the police's duties and functions in carrying out services to the community. This study is an empirical study, by studying various books and reading laws and regulations related to the material for writing this thesis. Data collection techniques in the study were carried out by field research and literature to obtain data related to the title of the thesis being raised. Furthermore, the data was processed and analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method by describing the reality that had occurred. The results of this study concluded that the Review of Competence of the Eligibility of the Police's Duties and Functions of Service. The police, especially the Kendari Police, the competency of the duties and functions of the Police's services (Indonesian Republic Police) covers various aspects that are the basis for assessing the quality and effectiveness of services provided by the institution to the community. The inhibiting factors that can be found in the duties and functions of the Police's services to the community consist of internal and external factors, both the lack of effective management, community participation, support and synergy between law enforcement agencies and the government, the use of technology and the imbalance between demands and limited capacity.
