FAKTOR PENYEBAB TERJADINYA PERNIKAHAN SIRI (Suatu Studi Pada Kota Kendari)

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) What factors cause unregistered marriages in Kendari City, 2) What efforts must be made to prevent unregistered marriages in Kendari City, and this research was conducted by means of library research by studying various books and reading laws and regulations related to the material for writing this thesis. The data collection technique for this research was carried out by documentation, namely obtaining document data related to the title of this thesis. Furthermore, the data was processed and analyzed using a descriptive method, namely describing the chronology of cases that had occurred, then analyzed using a deductive mindset to draw conclusions. The results of this study concluded that what factors caused unregistered marriages and efforts that must be made to prevent unregistered marriages in Kendari City are as follows. 1). Internal factors and external factors. Where the internal factor is a factor that arises within the couple, namely there is no intention to register the marriage in front of a legal guardian. While external factors are factors that arise from outside the prospective husband and wife, namely the inability to pay the registration fee or marriage administration fee, .; 2). Then there are efforts that must be made to prevent the occurrence of unregistered marriages in Kendari City, namely 1). reducing registration costs; 2) providing public understanding of unregistered marriages that these activities are very detrimental to married couples.
