Abstract

The objectives of the study were: 1). To determine the factors causing the occurrence of criminal acts of receiving money in the jurisdiction of the Konawe Police. 2). To determine. Efforts to overcome the occurrence of criminal acts of receiving money in the jurisdiction of the Konawe Police. This study was conducted in the jurisdiction of the Konawe Police using the type of research, namely empirical normative. The data collection method used was document study, field surveys and interviews using qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen: 1. The factors causing the occurrence of criminal acts of receiving money in the jurisdiction of the Konawe Police consist of: 1) Internal factors are the personal conditions of the perpetrators, such things can internally influence the perpetrators to commit evil acts, especially the crime of receiving money. Internally, what is meant is the psychological factors of the perpetrator or healthy and unhealthy mentality in the perpetrator himself. 2). External factors. a. Environmental factors. b. Poverty factors. 2). Efforts to overcome the occurrence of criminal acts of receiving money are carried out in two ways, namely: 1). Preventive efforts consist of: a. Conducting legal counseling to the community. b. Increasing religious and moral understanding. 2). Repressive Efforts. While repressive efforts are concluded that if a crime occurs, the police, based on their duties and authorities, will immediately conduct an investigation to determine whether a crime has occurred or not, and if it meets the requirements, an investigation is carried out.
