TINJAUAN SOSIOLOGI HUKUM TERJADINYA KECELAKAAN LALU LINTAS YANG MENGAKIBATKAN LUKA BERAT (Suatu Studi Di Sat Lantas Polres Konawe Selatan)
Abstract
The objectives of the research are: 1). To determine the factors causing traffic accidents. 2). To determine efforts to overcome traffic accidents. This research was conducted at the South Konawe Police using a normative empirical research type. The data collection methods used were document studies, field surveys and interviews using qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen: 1.a. The main causes of internal factors are caused by, among others; a). Lack of knowledge from drivers. b). Low education of drivers. c). Lack of skills. d). Chasing deposits. e). Drivers are less agile in controlling sudden situations if there is danger. f). The influence of drugs and alcohol. G). Drivers are less careful in driving their vehicles. 2b. Facilities and infrastructure factors (external factors). namely: 1). inadequate roads including Conditions; a). no road markings; B). no sidewalks yet; c). no crossings yet; D). many of the roads are damaged and have holes. 2. Efforts to overcome traffic accidents, namely: a. Preventive prevention efforts. Among other things, as much education and training as possible is needed. This effort can be given to someone since childhood, either by their family, teachers at school or in the community where the child is. The types of education and training that need to be given to a child are formal education and non-formal education. B. Repressive Prevention Efforts. are efforts that are carried out after an accident occurs or in other words "Demanding the imposition of heavy penalties, as well as heavy fines and the imposition of heavy criminal penalties, confiscating the perpetrator's assets/documents that are possible with traffic violations.
